ABC CONNECT is an endeavour of the Above & Beyond Caregivers Association that connects families and guardians to educated, experienced and knowledgeable caregivers.

 

We understand - how vital the right caregiver is in fostering a positive relationship with your loved ones. When a caregiver needs to step up or step back to let your loved ones do their own thing, give them their space, yet keep a close eye on the value of communication between you, your loved one and your caregiver.  We understand the need to be patient, have a sense of humour, be honest with you and find a way to carry on. Focus on problem-solving and keeping your and your loved ones needs ahead of everything else.  Your caregiver becomes crucial to your daily life, so they must be reliable and committed to you. They should be on time, organized, and transparent with you about their availability. The importance of mandatory education and courses that a caregiver must-have for the safety of your loved ones and their own.

With this understanding, we have started a voluntary endeavour to connect families with caregivers who will work under you through Family-Managed Service agreements. There is no cost to families for this service.
